Specifically designed for riding motorcycles. This sports shoe has all the important features that are required of a modern motorcycle shoe. The combination of genuine cowhide and added XTM-Fiber® membrane (fiber technology made from DuPont ™ Kevlar® Coolmax® and Lycra®) gives this shoe its high functionality and respective protection in extreme conditions. Thus, the John Doe Shifter provides additional protection against abrasion over motorcycle leather shoes. Another feature is the John Doe three-point protection, which provides additional reinforcement at the ankle, heel and forehead. The leather "shift guard" adequately protects the shoe and adds grip to shift the motorcycle.

Of course, all of our motorcycle shoes also have a "water stop function" (like trekking and hiking shoes), that is, the tongue is designed to prevent water from quickly seeping into the shoe on the laces. The "easy entry" to the shoe through the zipper allows the rider to put on and take off the shoe quickly and easily without untying it for comfort. A non-slip, oil resistant and vibration absorbing sole is also standard on our John Doe motorcycle shoes. Details such as the John Doe logo engraved in leather on the ankle protection or the metal JDM emblem on the tab complete the classic design of our "Shifter" shoe.
